
Rye High School is an accredited public high school, with approximately 840 students and a teaching staff of 79. Over 95% of our graduates enter universities and colleges. To meet the needs of all our students, we offer classes at the Honors and Regents levels. We also offer 22 College Board Advanced Placement courses. Last year, forty percent of our students participated in the AP program and took an average of 2.1 AP courses. Rye High School has been constantly recognized for its academic strengths by placing in the top 100 high schools in the national rankings conducted by US News and World Report and Newsweek Magazine. We also offer an extensive extracurricular program which includes the performing and fine arts, instrumental and vocal music, service-oriented clubs, fundraising clubs, student publications as well as diverse interest clubs which enable each student to select activities suited to his or her talents and interests.
